I Like the Nightlife - The Blogazon Roundup

Hi there Polished Pretty : )

I am pleased to bring you the latest version of the Blogazon roundup, and another nail polish review!

Today I am sharing with you a polish I found at ICING, I Like the Nightlife.   It is medium blue with teal sparkles, and a violet flash.  I adore blue and purple together so I couldn't put this fascinating polish down in the store, I even picked it over a glitter polish!  Icing has a great selection of polishes and I love the names too!  Their Charlie Sheen polish, Epic Winning is a huge favorite of mine, as are Frost Yourself and Glamorous ; )

Of course, the flash is more obvious in the bottle than on the nail, but it is there.  The formula leaves a bit to be desired, but for a novelty polish, that is to be expected.  It is a bit sheer, and the polish dries to a dull and uneven finish, the liquid suspension dries and shrinks more than would be desirable, and makes topcoat mandatory with this one.  This is three coats plus seche vite after a day's wear, overall it is pretty good.

This is one of the most beautiful colors of the rainbow, and is unique in my collection. This reminds me of the color of intense blue lights, as you see illuminating electronics, on things like my computer monitor button. I just love seeing this color, and the mixture of blue and purple on my nails is super fun and satisfying to gaze upon.

I paid aproximately $3.50 at ICING, they are $4.50 each and seem to always be BOGOHO. In my picture below I see black specks in the polish, but they weren't visible to my eye when wearing this polish.

I would love this color in a better formula, are you listening polish makers?  LOL, I wish!
